Where you can take your aggressions out on poor unsuspecting cardstock and canvas.

Ranger has a line of Distress inks that are great to get that old and tattered look.
They also carry Distress Embossing Powders.

But there are a lot of fun techniques to try.

Distressed Backgrounds

Distressed backgrounds can change the look of a piece dramatically.

The piece on the left used Soot Distress Ink by Ranger, direct to paper.

The pieces below used colorbox chalk inks with a Krafty Lady texture sheet.
