A Little About Me,The Artist :O)
Hello! As a Freelance Artist, I enjoy working with many media of art. I have an extensive background in the art field. I first began drawing at the age of four. By the time I was a teen, I had submitted several pieces of art to the "Warren Art League" in Warren, Pa., winning several blue ribbons and always taking nothing less than an honorable mention. One of my pieces, titled, "Garden of the World", was not only one of my first place winners, but also made the front page of the local paper in 1976. When I was about twenty one, I began trying my hand at painting with oils and to date have left my "mark" on everything from furniture to handsaws!! I have sold several pieces of hand-painted artwork over the years. I was also employed for a time with a local nursing home to "hand-make" all of their Sympathy and Thank You cards. (Which, actually, was my inspiration to embark on this little venture!) In November of 2000 I was named "Person of the Week" in the Tribune Democrat in Johnstown, Pa., for my volunteer work in creating a 3-D, lighted "Vintage Christmas Village" mural for five consecutive years for the elderly in an elderly care facility.
Over the past few months, you may have recognized quite a few pieces of my artwork in "The Rubber Stamper Magazine" or as featured "Projects of the Week" on the "Rubber Makers Organization Site"!
I truly enjoy drawing and I am delighted to be a part of this new and exciting market! I have met many interesting and wonderful people in the stamping industry. I have made a lot of new friends while working with the various companies and it has been a real pleasure learning new things everyday about the business of Rubberstamping and Scrapbooking! I would like to invite you to visit my site and look forward to hearing from you soon!

I design rubber stamps images for After Midnight. I've been having a great time working with Linda. She has inspired many of my designs with her creative ideas. She is my mentor and guru for learning how to play with the stamps- I've been having a ball learning stamping techniques.
I have some of my stamping creations and other artwork at my personal website:
I'd love to hear from you. We love to have new artwork to post to our gallery pages. I'm one of the people who maintain Linda's fantastic website and participate in the After Midnight mailing list. Let me know if you have created something with our rubber stamps that you would like to share!

I am a scribe and have taught calligraphy for almost twenty-five years. I make handmade books. I like personalizing wedding and birth announcements. I've always felt it was a priviledge to be included in peoples' intimate moments.
I've painted ostrich eggs with endangered species for Busch Gardens, freelanced graphics and signage, and worked in bronze foundries making art statuary.
